This proposal will build a macroeconomic framework that can be used to estimate the nationwide economic impacts of infectious diseases and control interventions in particular countries in the global context. Our framework will serve as a general modelling platform that can incorporate the health impacts of infectious diseases and policy interventions estimated through dynamic epidemiological models to evaluate their macroeconomic impacts.
